Chopin & Szymborska - A Dialogue Between Words and Music
An intimate and thought-provoking encounter between two of Poland’s greatest artistic voices: Frédéric Chopin, the beloved 19th-century Romantic composer, and Wisława Szymborska, the Nobel Prize-winning poet of the 20th century. This unique performance weaves together Chopin's piano masterpieces with the poignant, ironic, and profoundly human poetry of Szymborska, creating a lyrical conversation across time.
On stage, poet and translator Rafi Weichert and pianist Orit Wolf engage in a live, exposed dialogue - reflecting, interpreting, and responding to the emotional landscapes of both music and verse. A rare and moving evening where poetry breathes through piano, and music speaks in metaphors.
