About the Event
Tribute to the rich sounds and captivating rhythms of Gypsy music from Hungary, Romania, and the Balkans. From Sarasate’s Gypsy Melodies to the dynamic energy of Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, from the bold Hungarian Rhapsodies of Liszt to Monti’s Czardas, The magic of Ravel’s Tzigane and more. The performance will be accompanied by video excerpts from Time of the Gypsies by Emir Kusturica.
